Requesting a berth

Nothing on this site is an offer; no contract or payment exists until written terms are issued.

Requesting a berth puts you on the list for the voyage you choose. It commits you to nothing, and you can ask us to take you off the list at any time.

Confirmation

No place on a voyage is confirmed until written terms for it are issued; the exact terms for your dates come with them.

Weather, routes and safety

Sailing depends on the sea. The skipper has final authority over departure, route and any change made for safety — including on expedition legs, where ice and weather set the plan.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for arriving on time at the joining port (for expedition legs we recommend arriving the day before), and for your travel documents. Travel insurance with sailing and medical-evacuation cover is required.
